VINCENT ART TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

 

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

These are the terms and conditions ("Terms") on which we supply products to you in the United Kingdom and worldwide. Please read these Terms carefully before you submit your order. By using our website, you agree to abide by all applicable laws and these Terms.

 

2. CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT

 

The products displayed on our website constitute a non-binding online catalogue. When you click "Buy now," you are placing a binding order to purchase the selected products. We automatically accept your offer upon receipt of your order, and you will receive an email confirmation.

All goods are offered subject to availability and our acceptance of the order. We reserve the right to reject any order without obligation to assign a reason. Given the handmade nature of our art, the exact size and colour of goods may vary slightly from the dimensions and appearance shown on our website.

 

3. PRICE & PAYMENT

 

Pricing & VAT:

  • UK & Europe: Product prices include VAT where applicable. For European destinations (EU, Switzerland, Norway, Monaco, Andorra), the final price at checkout is all-inclusive of local sales tax and customs duties.

  • Rest of World: For orders outside the UK and Europe, prices are shown exclusive of local import taxes. The buyer remains responsible for any customs duties, VAT, or GST applicable in the destination country.
     

Payment Terms:

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of placing your order via credit card, debit card, or PayPal.

  • By placing an order, you warrant that all provided details are correct and that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.

  • Your order will only be processed once payment has been cleared in full.
     

 

4. ORDERING, SHIPPING, DELIVERY, TAXES & CUSTOM DUTIES

 

1. Domestic Shipping (United Kingdom)
All orders within the United Kingdom are shipped via tracked courier services. As Vincent Art is a UK-based gallery, no import duties apply to domestic deliveries.

2. European Deliveries (EU, Switzerland, Norway, Monaco, Lucemburg)

For all European destinations, Vincent Art operates on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis.
 

  • All-Inclusive Pricing: All applicable VAT and customs duties are calculated and collected at checkout.

  • No Hidden Fees: The price you pay at the end of your transaction in our online shop is final. You will not be required to pay any additional taxes or administrative fees to the courier upon delivery.

  • Customs Handling: The Gallery handles all customs formalities and documentation required for the shipment to reach you directly.
     

3. Rest of the World (USA, Canada, Australia, Israel, etc.)
For orders shipped to destinations outside of Europe, Vincent Art operates on a DAP (Delivered At Place) basis.

  • Import Taxes: Your order may be subject to local import duties, VAT, GST, or other taxes once the shipment reaches your country.

  • Buyer Responsibility: These additional charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Vincent Art does not collect these fees at checkout and cannot predict their amount.

  • Customs Clearance: We recommend contacting your local customs office for specific information regarding imports of original artwork or art prints before completing your purchase.
     

4. Shipping Method & Insurance

  • Original Artwork: All original works are professionally packed (including crating where necessary) and shipped via premium courier services (FedEx/UPS/DHL) with full insurance and tracking.

  • Prints and Tiles: Art prints (in square tubes) and art tiles are shipped via tracked services. To maintain our high standards, international shipments of tiles are typically sent via courier to ensure a safe and duty-prepaid experience for our European clients.

    5. Order Processing & Preparation Time

  • Every piece of art from Vincent Art is handled with the utmost care to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

  • Original Paintings: Please allow 2-7 working days for professional packing. Large works require custom-built wooden crates (crating) to ensure maximum safety during transit.

  • Mixed Media. Framed Artworks and Prints are typically prepared and dispatched  within 5-7 working days.

  • Greetings Cards & Tiles: These items are typically prepared and dispatched within 1-3 working days.

  • Order Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once your order is placed, and a second notification with tracking details as soon as your artwork is dispatched.

  • 6. Estimated Delivery Times
    Once dispatched, the estimated arrival times are as follows:

  • United Kingdom: 1–3 working days.

  • Europe (EU, Switzerland, Norway): 3–7 working days via premium courier (DDP).

  • Rest of the World: 5–14 working days, depending on the destination and local customs processing.

  • Please note: These are estimated times. While we use reliable premium carriers, delays due to customs or international logistics are outside of our direct control.

  • 7. Tracking & Receipt
    All shipments are fully tracked and require a signature upon delivery.

  • We strongly recommend inspecting the packaging upon arrival. If there is any visible damage to the external crate or box, please note this with the courier when signing or refuse the shipment and contact the Gallery immediately.

 

6. RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

 

Cancellations: We do not accept cancellations once an order has been placed.
 

Original Artworks & Framed Pieces: Due to the unique and delicate nature of original paintings and custom-framed artworks, these items are considered final sale. We provide high-resolution images and videos (upon request) to ensure you are confident in your purchase before shipping. Returns for original works and framed pieces are only accepted in the event of damage during transit.
 

Paper Prints & Tiles: We offer a 14-day return policy for prints and tiles. You must notify us within 14 days of delivery to be eligible. The item must be returned unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
 

Return Shipping & Fees: The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including any import duties or taxes incurred during the return process. The original shipping cost is non-refundable. A 15% restocking fee may apply to returned items to cover the cost of professional inspection and repacking.
 

Damaged Items: In the unlikely case that your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. All our artworks are fully insured. You must provide photographic evidence of both the damage and the packaging to initiate an insurance claim. Do not discard the original packaging, as it is required for the inspection process.

Refunds will be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

 

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & COPYRIGHT

 

All content on our website, including the artworks, trademarks, and logos, is our property. The purchase of an artwork or print grants you only the physical ownership of the item. It does not transfer any rights to copy, reproduce, or publicly display the work. All rights are reserved.

 

8. DATA PROTECTION

 

All provisions regarding the protection of your personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy, which you must also read and accept.

 

9. APPLICABLE LAW

 

These Terms are governed by English law, and any legal proceedings will be brought in the English courts.
